Cantagallo, Tuscany

Cantagallo is a municipality with 3114 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Prato, Tuscany region.

Geography

The area of the municipality is 95 km ² and the population density is 31 inhabitants per km ². In the municipality stems from the Bisenzio.

The districts include Carmignanello, Fossato, Gavigno, Gricigliana, Il Fabbro, L' Acqua, Luicciana, Migliana, La Rocca di Cerbaia Usella and Montecuculi.

Cantagallo borders the following municipalities: Barberino di Mugello ( FI), Camugnano (BO), Montale ( PT), Montemurlo, Pistoia ( PT), Sambuca Pistoiese ( PT), and Vaiano Vernio.
