Cantiano
Cantiano is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2305 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region. The municipality is situated approximately 53.5 kilometers south-southwest of Pesaro and about 28 kilometers south of Urbino. Cantiano belongs to the Comunità montana del Catria e Nerone and directly borders the province of Perugia.
History
The community was settled very early by the Umbrians. Meaning she also won as a station on the Via Flaminia, which is an important route today.
