Canton of Le Châtelet

The Canton of Le Châtelet is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Saint- Amand- Montrond, in the department of Cher and the Centre region; its chief town is Le Châtelet.

The Canton of Le Châtelet is 17,915 acres ( 179.15 km ²) in size and has (1999), 2610 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 15 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 215 meters above sea level, between 165 meters in Ids- Saint -Roch and 276 meters in Le Châtelet.
