Cañuelas Partido

Cañuelas is the name of an administrative area ( Partido ) of the Argentine province of Buenos Aires and also the name of its main town. It is part of the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires.

The Partido Cañuelas is the 1,200 km ² and 47,845 inhabitants (as of 2007) also the largest and least populated administrative region of Gran Buenos Aires. Between 1991 and 2001 the population increased by 37.78 %. Between 2001 and 2007 the population increased by 5,031 persons, representing an increase of almost 12 %. In the same city Cañuelas approximately 31,000 people.
