Cao Bao (died 196)

Cao Bao (Chinese曹豹, Pinyin Cao Bao, W.-G. Ts'ao Pao; † about 196 ) was a vassal of the Chinese warlord Tao Qian and foster father of Lü Bu. When Cao Cao attacked Xuzhou, his general Xiahou Dun and Cao Bao clashed. Cao Bao was defeated in battle and had to withdraw.

According to Tao Qian's defeat Cao Bao went to Liu Bei's services, but was killed in a battle with Zhang Fei.
