Capernaum Church

The lake road is a 3.2 -mile main thoroughfare that runs from southwest to northeast mostly in the district of Wedding Berlins Mitte district, and a feeder to the motorway A 100.

Road

The lake road is part of the open road ring around the center of Berlin, which begins as A 100 in Neukölln and leads up to Friedrichshain. The road begins in the south as a continuation of the Berlin city motorway A100, exit lake road at the border between the districts of Plotzensee and Moabit. After 500 meters you cross the Hohenzollern Canal, reaching the district of Wedding. It leads south on Plotzensee to which it owes its name, and heads towards the junction with the African and Amrumer road.

In this section are located on the north side of the St. Paul, Nazareth and St. John's Cemeteries and opposite the site of the Rudolf- Virchow -Klinikum. History

The road runs through the territory of the former combing Heath. It was created as part of the subdivision of this forest area in 1827. The lake road was formerly in the south even further along the north shore of the "New connection channel " to the Habsburg shore. At its eastern end, today's Louise - Schroeder- place - then Oskar place - was the lake road originally diagonally continue to Letteallee. Institute for Fermentation Industry and Biotechnology

The building was built in 1901-1905.

Kapernaumkirche

In the years 1900-1902 at that time still undeveloped area to the plans of Karl Siebold from Bethel ( Bielefeld) built.
