Capi (footballer born 1977)

Jesús Capitán Prado ( born March 26, 1977 in Camas ), called Capi, is a Spanish footballer who plays for Deportivo Xerez in the Segunda División.

Playing career

Apart from the two years in which he was loaned to unterklassige clubs, Capi has spent his entire career at Betis. In the 1998/99 season he played for Jerez CF, in the following year for Granada CF. His debut for Betis he gave on 26 May 1997 against Valencia. His greatest achievement was winning the Copa del Rey in 2005.

Even after Betis ' relegation from the Primera División in 2009 remained Capi the club faithful, but a year later moved to the league rivals Deportivo Xerez.

Internationally

Capi played four times for the Spanish national team. His international debut came in the game against the Netherlands.
