Car Nicobar
Car Nicobar ( nico barbaric: Pu ) belongs to the Indian archipelago of the Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal to the east lies the Andaman Sea. Politically, the island is part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The small island has an area of 126.9 square kilometers and a population of 29 145. It reaches a height of around 60 meters to the southwest. The main towns are Malacca, Big Lapati / Jayanti, Mus and Perka. Mus ( Ha - nyôch ) is the capital of the island and seat of the Assistant Commissioner.

Car Nicobar is the northernmost of the Nicobar Islands, south lie the neighboring islands Battimaly and, further south, Chowra.
