Card Captor Sakura

Card Captor Sakura (Japaneseカード キャプター さくらKado kyaputā sakura, abbreviated as CCS) is a manga that was drawn by the group Clamp. Based on the Manga Artbooks three, six Anime Comics, two novels and the Clow Card book, a tarot book, a TV series and two movies were produced. In Cardcaptor Sakura is a Magical Girl manga.

Action

The ten -year-old Sakura Kinomoto finds a strange book in her father's library. Sakura opens the book and discovers the magical Clow Cards. She takes the first card, Windy, and activates them so, creating a strong wind arises, which distributes the other cards in all directions. The guardian of the book, Kerberos, or short Kero, who had unfortunately slept through the event, appears and asks Sakura, as Card Captor collect the cards again, so that they can do no harm. Cardcaptor Sakura was drawn by Clamp, the series was published from May 1996 to July 2000 in the magazine Nakayoshi the publisher Kodansha. The individual chapters were published also summarized in twelve anthologies. In German translation volumes are fully published by EMA. There also exist translations into English, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Portuguese.

The story of Syaoran and Sakura is in the episode series Tsubasa - Reservoir Chronicle resumed. The characters take over again the leading role in a CLAMP series, the plot differs from the original Cardcaptor Sakura.

Anime

TV Series

The anime on CCS was produced from 1998 to 2000 and has 70 episodes, which are divided into three seasons. The story itself can be divided into two parts just like in the manga: the first two anime seasons are Clow card number, the third to Sakura card number. There are currently two CCS movies. Both movies, The trip to Hong Kong and The sealed card, have appeared in Germany on VHS and DVD. The first 24 episodes of the series appeared on 6 DVDs 14 November 2005 to 9 October 2006 Anime universe.

In the anime, diving all 52 Clow Cards on the manga only 19 There is also a new character, Mai- lin Li, she is the cousin of Shaoran and supposedly his fiancée.
