Carhuaz Province
Carhuaz is a Peruvian province and is one of the 20 provinces that make up the Ancash region. It is bounded on the east by the provinces of Asunción and Huari, to the south by the province of Huaraz and the west and north by the province of Yungay. The provincial capital is the same place Carhuaz.
In the 803.95 km ² area in the year 2007 there were 43 902 people, which corresponds to a population density of 54.61 inhabitants per km ².
