Carl Abel

Carl Abel ( born November 25, 1837 in Berlin, † November 26, 1906 in Wiesbaden ) was a German linguist.

Abel wrote his linguistic essays in 1880. During the after the fourth Earl of Ilchester Ilchester named lecture series of the Taylor Institute for Russian and East European studies at Oxford University in 1883 he held lectures on comparative lexicography. He also worked as a Berlin correspondent of The Times and magazines of the standard.
