Barks Disney comics

In January 1992, the American publisher Gladstone began with the Carl Barks Library of Walt Disney 's Comics and Stories in Color ( CBLC - WDC ), the project of publishing all Disney comics by Carl Barks in color. Based on the old Carl Barks Library of Another Rainbow, which appeared in the 1980s in black and white. As of October 1992, the German edition was published, based on the translation by Erika Fuchs.

A total of 133 volumes have been published in 8 rows in Germany. The stories were in chronological order and re-colored. The compilation of the albums differs in the American and the German ranks from each other, as the American albums to some extent had a significantly lesser extent, and therefore include the Gladstone series more numbers.

The sub-series " Junior Woodchucks " contains mostly material supplied only the preliminary drawings for the Barks. The two rows " Daisy Duck " and " Grandma Duck " contain stories that Barks only recorded while the texts of other Disney authors came.
