Carl Johan Lind

Carl Johan Lind ( born May 25, 1883 in Karlskoga, † February 2nd 1965 in Karlstad ) was a Swedish athlete.

The athlete with the nickname " Massa " had its premiere at the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912. He was fifth in the hammer throw and discus throw from the difference in qualifying. In the two-handed discus throw, he was eighth.

1920 in Antwerp, he won silver in the hammer throw behind Pat Ryan from the United States and before his compatriot Basil Bennett and bronze in the weight throwing behind the Americans Pat McDonald and Pat Ryan. In Paris in 1924 he finished seventh in the hammer throw, 1928 in Amsterdam, he retired in the same discipline in the preliminaries of.

From 1918 to 1924 he was seven consecutive Swedish champion in the hammer throw.
