Carlien Dirkse van den Heuvel

Carlien Dirkse van den Heuvel (born 16 April 1987) is a Dutch hockey player.

Life

Dirkse van den Heuvel played for Dutch club HC Den Bosch. With this club they won from 2004 to 2007 three times the national championships in the Netherlands. Since 2007 Dirkse van den Heuvel plays for Stichtse Cricket en Hockey Club. With the Dutch women's team won the Field Hockey European Championship Women 2009 and the field hockey European Championship Women 2011. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she won the Dutch women's team gold medal. Dirkse van den Heuvel lives together with the Dutch hockey player Maartje Paumen.
