Carlo Lasinio

Count Carlo Lasinio ( born February 10, 1759 in Treviso, † March 26, 1838 in Pisa ) was an Italian draftsman, etcher and engraver.

Life and work

Lasinio was curator of the art treasures in Pisa and made ​​itself known through the conservation and reproduction of works of art older time. Important are the 40 sheets ornaments by ancient frescoes and oil paintings in Florence, and 41 leaves of Pitture a fresco del Campo Santo di Pisa ( the murals of the Campo Santo in Pisa, Florence, 1812) as well as that of his son and pupil Giovanni Paolo (1796 -1855 ) subscribed famous frescoes of the 14th and 15th century ( 2nd ed, 1841, 32 leaves).
