Carlos Amigo Vallejo

Cardinal Carlos Amigo Vallejo, OFM ( born August 23, 1934 in Medina de Rioseco, Valladolid, Spain) is a retired Archbishop of Seville.

Life

Carlos Amigo Vallejo occurred after short-term studies of human medicine in the Franciscan order and studied philosophy and Catholic theology in Rome and Madrid. In 1960 he received the sacrament of Holy Orders. After further studies in Rome and Madrid, he was professor of philosophy of science and anthropology at various seminaries in Spain.
