Carlos Arvelo Municipality
Carlos Arvelo is a ( municipality ) in the state of Carabobo in northern Venezuela.
The municipality has a population of about 149313 inhabitants in an area of 835 km ². The headquarters is Güigüe.

Carlos Arvelo is divided into three parroquias:
Policy
Marisol Castillo, of the PSUV, is of Municipalities Mayor since 2008. She won with 49.44 % of votes.
For elections to the National Assembly in 2010, the candidate of the PSUV got 57.79 % of the votes against 38.82 % of the candidate of Proyecto Venezuela.
Economy
The economy of the municipality is based on agriculture.
