Carlos Víctor Aramayo

Carlos Victor Aramayo (* 1889 in Paris, † 1982) was one of the most important mining operators in the first half of the 20th century and Simón I. Patiño alongside and Moritz Hochschild one of the three South American tin barons.

In 1925 he took over the management of the holding company Aramayo Cie des Mines de Bolivie in Geneva, worked in various embassies his home country on a diplomatic mission, including as Ambassador in London and Paris. In 1935 he was Bolivian Minister of Finance under President Sorzano.
