Carmel Busuttil

Carmel Busuttil ( * February 29, 1964 in Rabat ), called Il Buzu, is considered to date the most important football players of Malta. He was midfielder and played 113 games for the national team. After end of his career as a football player, he was a football coach.

Career

The striker began his career with Rabat Ajax FC, ​​where he twice won the Maltese Championship and once the trophy. After a year in Italy with AS Verbania he played six years in Belgium with KRC Genk (322 ), four of them as captain, and was in three seasons top scorer of the club.
