Carmel Winery

The Carmel wineries (Hebrew יקבי כרמל ) are the largest wine producer in Israel. Carmel mainly produces kosher wines mass for the Israeli market, but in addition high-quality wines, see the international attention.

Carmel has its formal headquarters in Rishon LeZion, great wine and cellar equipment and a tasting room are also located in Zichron Yaakov.

The founding of Carmel goes back to the foundation Palestine Jewish Colonization Association of Baron Edmond de Rothschild, who wanted to support so in the 1880s, Jewish immigrants.
