Carol Bartz

Carol Ann Bartz ( born August 29, 1948 in Winona, Minnesota) is an American manager. Between 2009 and 2011 she served as Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of the Internet company Yahoo.

Life

1971 closed Bartz their studies computer science at the University Wisconsin with a bachelor's degree. In the 1970s she worked for 3M as Systemanalystin. 1976 to 1983 she worked in the marketing of Sun Microsystems, where he became vice president in 1984 for this area. In 1987, she was vice president of worldwide field operations and executive officer at Sun. 1990-1992 Bartz was President, Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) and Chairman of Autodesk, 1992 to April 2006 Executive Chairman.
