Carter Trevisani

Carter Trevisani ( born June 6, 1982 in Carlisle, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player Italo- standing since October 2012 at the Thousand Islands Privateers in the Federal Hockey League contract.

Career

Carter Trevisani began his career as a hockey player in the team of Ohio State University, however, he left again at the beginning of the 2000/01 season after only ten games to play for the next three years in the Ontario Hockey League for the Ottawa 67 's. With the Canadian Brussels residents 2001 he won the J. Ross Robertson Cup as champions of the OHL. In addition, he was selected in the eighth round in the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 when a total of 244 players from the Carolina Hurricanes for which, however, he never played. In summer 2003, the defender moved to AS Varese Hockey in the Italian Serie A1, for which he was on the ice for two years before he ran aground in the 2005/06 season for their league rivals HC Asiago.

In the season 2006/ 07 stood at Trevisani Södertälje SK in the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan under contract by which he achieved promotion to the Elitserien. He then returned to Italy, where he played one year for the HC Milano Vipers, before transferring to HC Val Pusteria in the summer of 2008. From 2009 he played for HC Asiago. The following year, he extended his contract in Asiago in early summer. The contract was terminated in mid-August against because Travisani decided to stay in his native Canada. His replacement in Asiago was the slowenenische national team Sabahudin Kovacevic. In Canada Trevisiani moved to the Akwesasne Warriors from his home province of Ontario, for whom he played in the Federal Hockey League. In 35 games in the FHL the defender scored 50 points. In January 2011 he returned to Italy and signed a contract until the end of the season when HC Valpellice. After he had failed with the Bulldogs in the playoff semi-finals against the HC Val Pusteria, Trevisani returned in March 2011, again in the FHL to the Akwesasne Warriors back. In the playoff finals, the team won four games in the series against the New York Aviators and secured the Commissioner's Cup, the championship of the FHL. In October 2012, he was obliged by league rivals Thousand Islands Privateers.

Internationally

For Italy Trevisani participated in the World Championships in 2006, 2007 and 2008, and the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin in part.
