Style of music and texts

The band's style on Carving out the Eyes of God is strongly reminiscent of Celtic Frost, but also to Motörhead, Venom, Hellhammer and Morbid Angel; Bands like Venom and Celtic Frost also be specified by the band themselves as influences. The song moves between the black -metal- typical, gritty, and the death-metal - typical growling.

The title is based on the idea that God created the world have created in six days and rested on the seventh day; Ben Falgoust was reading a short story by Clive Barker, in which God did not rest on the seventh day, but tarnished and tired created all evil and abominable. For all the evil would be as fair as all the best and would be in balance. This also shows that, if there were a God, he was wrong.
