Cast net

The cast net is a small fishing net for catching fish. The circular power at its edges to weights will be located so thrown by a man, that it falls into the water and sinks to the bottom open. There, the lower opening is contracted and then the power obtained with the fish therein by strings, the end of the thrower reserves in the hands.

The cast net used in fishing is not to be confused with the Krepelnetz of the gladiators.
