Castelnaud-la-Chapelle

Castelnaud- la -Chapelle ( Occitan Castelnau e la Capela) is a commune with 474 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Dordogne in the Aquitaine region. The city is situated on the banks of the Dordogne River, directly at the mouth of her left tributary Céou. The picturesque silhouette of the town is dominated by the castle Castelnaud, a medieval fortress from the 13th century.
