Cat Mandu

Cat Mandu (also: Cat Mandu, Mandu ) (* 1995, † 2002) was a British tabby cat and elected leader of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party.

Career

Cat Mandu was after the death of Screaming Lord Sutch in 1999, elected together with their owner Howling Laud Hope Official leader of the Monster Raving Loony Party, until she was run over in a car accident in 2002. To commemorate her death, suggested the party to provide all main roads with Cat crosswalk.

Name

The cat's name is a corruption of Kathmandu in Nepal. A legislative proposal from the OMRLP after her death was that no cat Cat Mandu may be called, as there may be only one of that name.
