Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Original Title: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof ) is a book written by Tennessee Williams play (original release: 1955 ) about a rich American farmer family. It was filmed in 1958 under the same title.

Content

The title comes from an American saying: there are reluctant to jump down the cat on the roof until the roof is hot; but then there is nothing more decisive than it: A set she jumps. The " cat " in the piece is Maggie.
