Caterina Scorsone
Caterina Scorsone Reminy ( born October 16, 1981 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actress.
Life
Scorsone was born as the third of five children. She has two older twin sisters, a younger sister and a brother. At eight years old she began to work as an actress in Canada. Scorsone attended the Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts in Toronto where she in Oklahoma! was involved and several other productions. In 2005 she finished her studies literature with emphasis on religion at the University of Toronto and attended besides still Trinity College. Mid-2006 Scorsone moved to the United States. She is married to the singer and songwriter Rob Giles. Their first child, a daughter, was born on July 6, 2012 to the world. Her pregnancy was broadcast in the series Private Practice on her figure.
Acting Career
Scorsones first TV appearance took place in the Canadian children's show Mr. Dressup. Here she was a regular guest.
The television series, with the Scorsone achieved her international breakthrough is Missing - Desperately Seeking. There, she played the lead role of Jess Mastriani. From 2007 until 2013 she starred in the series Private Practice Dr. Amelia Shepherd the figure. She played the same role in the two crossovers with Grey's Anatomy.
