Caucete Department

The department Caucete located in the southeast of the San Juan province in western Argentina is one of 19 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the north by the departments Jáchal and Valle Fertil, on the east by the province of La Rioja, in the south of the province of San Luis and the Departamento Veinticinco de Mayo and to the west by the departments Nueve de Julio and San Martín.
