Cauldron (video game)

Witches' kitchen, in the original English Cauldron, is a three-part platforming video game series. The first two games were 1985/86 for the C64 released the ZX Spectrum, Enterprise / Mephisto and the Schneider / Amstrad CPC. A third title was published in 1992 for Amstrad CPC, Amiga, Atari ST and DOS.

Description

Witch's Kitchen was published in 1985 by Palace Software. In this game you control a witch, must collect and concoct the magic items in the game world. You start in the witch house, which you leave to see the world outside the cave entrances. In the individual caves where you just can not jump, you'll find the individual magic items which you have to bring back to the witch's house. If you have concocted all objects, you can defeat the boss, the big pumpkin and the treasure that is guarded by him collect.

With Witch's Kitchen II: The Pumpkin Strikes Back ( Cauldron 2: The Pumpkin Strikes Back ) was a successor to the same computer systems in 1986 on the market. Here you now controls the pumpkin in a huge castle where you jump around, collect object in the correct order and must eventually kill the witch of the castle. The control of the bouncing pumpkin reminds Wizball.

In 1992, the French company Titus Software released the title Super Cauldron for Amstrad CPC, Amiga, Atari ST and DOS.
