CB AxarquÃa
Club Baloncesto Axarquia (abbreviated CB Axarquia ) is a Spanish basketball club from Torre del Mar, a part of Vélez -Málaga in the " Comarca " Axarquia. The club operates under the sponsorship name (" Instituto Oftalmologico " ) Clínicas Rincón.
History
The club was founded in 1988. In the early years they played in the unterklassigen basketball leagues in Spain. In the 2004/05 season promotion to the third division.
Three years later, made the jump to the second division in which the team was able to hold for three years and in the 2008/ 09 season reached the play-offs for promotion to the ACB league. There, the team failed in the quarterfinals.
The team acted for a time as a reserve team of the first division and multiple Euro League team Unicaja Málaga. As the top-flight club in the meantime finished the cooperation, the team of Clínicas Rincón league Española de Baloncesto ( LEB) had to leave and try a rebuild in the Spanish amateur leagues (EBA). With the rise in 2012 in the third-class " LEB Plata " Clínicas Rincón reached but already exited the professional leagues in Spain.
Hall
