CDG Express

CDG Express is the name of a planned in France rail link that will connect the Paris East Station (Gare de l' Est) with the airport Paris -Charles de Gaulle. The 32 -kilometer track is designed to provide an attractive link without intermediate stops for passengers and can be realized under a concession model by a private company, but the need to have recourse to the French state railway SNCF for operating the trains.

Originally an opening by 2016 was being considered, the project is currently in limbo, as the ( only ) approved as part of the selection candidate for the award of the concession, a consortium led by the French construction group Vinci, the contract as originally provided in the course signed in 2010.
