History

CE Europe was established on June 5, 1907 from the merger of two smaller clubs Barcelona and Madrid de Provençal, under the name Club Deportivo Europe. The best era saw the club in the 1920s, when he rose to become the second force in Barcelona.

1923 CE Europe won the Catalan Championship and reached the Spanish Cup, at that time the only pan- Spanish Championship, the finale, which, however, he lost against Athletic Bilbao 0-1.

1928 was the club one of the founding members of the Spanish League, but in 1931, after three seasons, the CE Europe dismounted. Following a merger with the name Gracia FC Catalunya FC was adopted and the club disappeared from the scene.

In 1951, he appeared as the official successor under its present name in the Tercera División again.

Since then succeeded CE Europe 1963, the rise in the Segunda División, where the club was relegated again after five years. In 1994-95 he played then for a season in the Segunda División B, the 3rd Liga in Spain.

Other notable successes, however, celebrated the little club in the years 1997 and 1998, when he was able to beat to be overpowering force FC Barcelona in the final of the Copa Catalunya, respectively.
