History
The club was founded in 1997 as Oli Baró de Maials. It was created by the merger of several smaller clubs from Lleida. In the 2000 /01 season, the team played for the promotion to the highest Spanish basketball league, the ACB league. The decisive duels against Menorca Bàsquet were victorious disputed.
