Ceará Sporting Club

The Ceará Sporting Club, usually just referred to only Ceará, Fortaleza is a football club from the capital of the Brazilian state of Ceará, founded on June 2, 1914. He is regarded as a traditional and popular especially among the working class club. In addition to the archrival Fortaleza EC it is one of the two leading clubs of Ceará. The club was a 1994 Brazilian Cup finalist. National played by the club in the second-rate Série B.

The team is also known as Vovô ( Grandfather).
