Ceasefire

The ceasefire (or truce ) is

  • ( as opposed to the truce ) to set a deal between two warring parties, all the fights and warlike activities for a short time and for a specific purpose,
  • Or a unilateral decision of a party.

The purpose of such fire breaks can be:

  • Salvage of dead and care for the wounded
  • Ensuring the safe conduct of parliamentarians,
  • Exploratory able or reorganization of the troops
  • Explore the possibility of a truce
  • Military Law
  • Law of Armed Conflict
