Cebollatí is a city in the east of Uruguay.
Geography
It is located in the north of the department of Rocha in its sector 6 on the banks of the Río Cebollatí, which forms the border with the Nachbardepartamento Treinta y Tres here. In about 15 kilometers to the east, the Laguna Merín and the local border to Brazil is located. Cebollatí is the northernmost settlement of the department of Rocha.
Infrastructure
Cebollatí is connected via the leading through the city Ruta 15 to the transport network.
Population
As part of the census of the year 2011 1.609 inhabitants have been identified, of which 802 male and 807 female.
