Cecilia Bolocco

Cecilia Carolina Bolocco Fonck ( born May 19, 1965 in Santiago de Chile) is a Chilean television presenter and actress in the Chilean television.

Life

Bolocco studied engineering for a year and then fashion design. She was elected in 1987 as the first Chilean to Miss Universe. She then began a career with the Chilean State television, where she hosted an entertainment program on Saturday. Later, she was co-host of a program on Canal 13

Bolocco married in 1990 the U.S. television producers Michael Young. About the event was reported by the Chilean media as a royal wedding. 1990 moved Bolocco to Miami, Florida, where she worked as a news anchor for CNN. Thereafter, she hosted several programs at Telemundo, a Spanish-language television network in Puerto Rico, which she received two Emmy Awards.

Later Bolocco took a major role in the Mexican television series Morelia, which was broadcast in over 70 countries and the mid- 1990s, Bolocco separated from her husband Michael Young. After their separation, from October 1996, she presented again a lot of programs watched in Chilean television and also had their own radio program. In February 2000, she acted as moderator in Festival of Viña del Mar.

On May 26, 2000, she married the former Argentine President Carlos Menem, whom she had met during an interview. Máximo, the first child of Bolocco and Menem, was born in late 2003. They were divorced in April 2007.
