Cecilia Chacón

Cecilia Isabel Chacón de Vettori ( born February 3, 1971 in Lambayeque ) is a Peruvian businesswoman and politician.

Life

Cecilia Isabel Chacón de Vettori is the daughter of Isabel Aurora Vettori and Walter Chacon Malaga in 1966 and Minister of the Interior in the last months of the regime of Alberto Fujimori Presidente del Comando Conjunto de las Fuerzas Armadas and fellow student of Vladimiro Montesinos.

Cecilia Isabel Chacón de Vettori studied business administration at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Universidad Ricardo Palma Aplicadas. In Cajamarca, she was chairman of the local Chamber of Tourism and head of the hotel chain Hacienda del Sol.

In 2006 she was elected on a list of the Alianza por el Futuro by Keiko Fujimori in the Congress of the Republic of Peru for a constituency in Cajamarca. Where it until 2010 acts of 2009 as the first Vice - President.
