CEDADE

The CEDADE ( Spanish acronym for: Círculo Español de Amigos de Europa, about: Spanish Circle of Friends of Europe) is a right-wing Spanish organization founded in 1966. The CEDADE is referred to as the most influential and most active European neo-Nazi organization.

The start-up phase (1966-1970)

The 60s in Spain were characterized by a loss of importance of the fascist parties. In this environment, the CEDADE, a new, oriented to the principles of organization of the NSDAP merger formed. In 1966 he was founded by Ángel Ricote, taken shortly after Pedro Aparicio. The CEDADE resorted to anti-Semitic ideologies to their dissemination and establishment in Spain, he contributed significantly. The club changed its name first as a cultural association of vegetarianism, abstinence, non- smoking and conservation propagated. Consolidation phase (1970-1974)

1970 took over the presidency of Jorge Mota CEDADE. Mota was able to expand the influence of the organization. The CEDADE at that time had around 500 to 600 members and was able to open offices in several Spanish cities. New financial support could be won by the Arab side ( Haj Amin al -Husseini ).

Transition to democracy (1975-1978)

After Franco's death put a democratization processes in Spain. Decline (1978-1993)

In 1978, Pedro Varela chair the CEDADE. He built from mainly the publishing activity, provided the propaganda material for all of Europe. Activities prior to dissolution

The former members continued their activities inter alia in the Partido Popular and the Proyecto IES (Instituto de Estudios Sociales, Políticos Económicos y ) in Madrid.

Pedro Varela now operates the printing Nothung and the bookstore Europe in Barcelona, ​​specializing in the writings of Holocaust deniers. In the bookstore and in Varelas Apartment 1996 more than 7000 works quite extreme content, primarily confiscated in German language.
