Cédric Sorhaindo

Cédric Sorhaindo ( born June 7, 1984 in La Trinité on Martinique ) is a French handball player.

The 1.92 -meter and 100 -pound right circle runner is since 2010 the Spanish club FC Barcelona under contract by which he 2011, 2012 and 2013, won the championship in 2011 and the EHF Champions League. Previously, he played for from 1999 to 2001 at Gauloise de Trinité en Martinique, from 2001 to 2004 in Angers Noyant, 2004-2009 at Paris HB and in the 2009/10 season at Toulouse Handball. With Paris he played in the EHF Cup (2004/2005, 2006/2007), in the EHF Champions League (2005/2006) and in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2007/2008, 2008/2009).

Cédric Sorhaindo is in the squad of the French national team, so for the European Handball Championship in 2010 and 2014, where he became European Champion in each case. At the World Cup 2011, he also won the title. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympics in London and won the gold medal. He made his debut in the senior team on 26 October 2005 in an international match against the Spanish selection. He has achieved so far 240 goals in 122 internationals.
