The Centro de Estudios de Historia del Antiguo Oriente ( CEHAO ) ( Spanish for Centre for the Study of the History of the Ancient Near East ) of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina is a research center for the history and archeology of the ancient Near East in Buenos Aires.

The CEHAO publishes the journal Antiguo Oriente, Damqatum, the newsletter of the CEHAO, as well as jointly with the Society of Biblical Literature, the Internet monographs series Ancient Near East Monographs ( Magnesia ).
