Celaenia excavata with spherical egg cocoons

Celaenia is an eleven kinds of species of orb-weaving spiders of the Real. The species are found in Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. The best known is Celaenia excavata called in Australia bird dropping spider, because it sees very similar to bird droppings, which protects them from potential predators.
