Celle-Soltau, Celle-Munster Light Railway

The little train Celle- Soltau, Celle -Munster GmbH was until 1908 a municipal house operation of the district of Celle and changed its name originally as a narrow-gauge railway Garßen Mountains.

The initiative for the construction of a railway to Bergen had gone out from the district of Celle. The opening of the section Garßen - Beckedorf Mountains took place on 23 April 1902. The endpoint Garßen came about because had not reached agreement on the route of the territory of the city with the town of Celle. After approval of the local railway Celle- Witt rings, however, had a solution in the form of the introduction found in their path. On April 23, 1910, the extension of the railway line from Bergen to Soltau and of Beckedorf to Munster took place. For this was 1908, the little train Celle- Soltau, Celle -Munster was founded as a limited company, were involved in the circle of Celle and the Kingdom of Prussia, the Province of Hanover and the districts Fallingbostel Soltau, Celle and several neighboring communities.
