CELPA (El Chamical)

The Centro de experimentacion y lanzamiento de Proyectiles Autopropulsados ​​( CELPA ) was a rocket launch site at Chamical in the province of La Rioja in Argentina at 30 ° 08 ' south latitude and 66 ° 20' west longitude. CELPA was in operation from 1962 to 1973 and was mainly used to launch sounding rockets of the types Centaure, Judi Darts, Orion, Rigel and Boosted Dart.
