censhare

Censhare is a commercial information and publishing system in the form of an Enterprise Content Management System ( ECMS ) of the German manufacturer censhare AG. It integrates all the input media information in a system organized content and automates the associated processes. The censhare publication system is both a content management system and a web content management system. It can be used for cross-media publishing content in various media such as multi-format publishing, cross-media publishing and multi- channel publishing. The system is used in media houses and other companies and institutions for the creation and delivery of content in all the usual communication media and corporate communications, marketing, brand management, multi-channel marketing, preparation of sales publications and for collaboration. At the technical level content, templates, layouts, structure and user accounts are stored separately in a central graph database and managed.

The censhare system is considered a " Global Publishing " product and is counted among the eight leading publishing systems worldwide.

History

Development, manufacturer

With the development of the system was started in 2001 and it came in 2002 as CoWare server on the market. Since version 2.0.0, the system is distributed as censhare. In 2008, the manufacturing company CoWare AG was renamed censhare AG. Censhare AG is headquartered in Munich, Freiburg is a branch. There are also sales companies in the UK, Italy, Switzerland, the USA, India and Latin America.

The system is built in individual modules and tools and solution for communication and publishing offered up to " All-in- One". Major versions usually appear every two years, minor versions regularly three times per year and revision versions as needed.

In addition to product development, censhare AG as an official partner in the development IDML (InDesign Markup Language ) by Adobe Systems is involved.

Use

The censhare system is costly and will be offered for the purchase of each configured solutions and the respective licenses needed as required. In addition, since May 2009, various communication products are offered as SaaS censhare after the SaaS model at a monthly rental rate, the terms are doing 12 to 48 months.
