Central Division (NHL)
The Central Division is one of the Western Conference corresponding Division of the North American Hockey League NHL. It includes seven teams, as well as the Pacific Division as its counterpart in the Western Conference.
The division into divisions made according to the principles of local teams. In the Central Division of the teams that are located in the interior of North America to play. It was after the expansion of the league founded in 1993 as the successor to the Norris Division. As part of the restructuring at the beginning of the 2013/14 season the Northwest Division was dissolved and divided their teams on the Central and the Pacific Division.
