Central Mountain Air

The Central Mountain Air (CMA ) is a Canadian airline based and home -based in Smithers, Canada. It provides scheduled and charter flights to over 17 destinations in Canada. The CMA is privately owned and currently employs over 300 people.

History

The airline was founded in 1987 and adopted in the same year the flight operations. By order of the Raytheon Beech 1900D Airliner in 1997 CMA became a partner of Air Canada and took over several routes of Air BC.

Today, only a few flights for Air Canada to run the airline now flies under its own code 9M.

2005 and 2006 the fleet was expanded and also charter flights to the Dornier 328 has since offered.

Central Mountain Air is the sister company of Northern Thunderbird Air ( NT Air), the charter and cargo flights from Prince George, Smithers, Mackenzie, Vancouver and Calgary offers.
