The Central University College (German Central University ) (in short: CUC) in Accra is a University College, which is the University of Cape Coast connected. The CUC is a Christian University, which was founded on premises of the International Central Gospel Church ( IUGC ). This university is divided into the districts of Dansoman, Dawhenya and Mataheko of Accra.

History

The CUC initially developed in 1988 as a training center for pastors of International Central Golpel Church. In June 1991 it was renamed under the name Central Bible College continued and in 1993, Central Christian College. With the approval in 1997 as University College, the educational institution was renamed again in Central University College.

Faculties

In SBS, four faculties and a center have been established for studies of the Pentecostal Church.

In the Faculty of Theology and proselytizing, the oldest institution of the University, since 1988 courses are already in the former Institute for Pastoral Education offered. This Faculty is located on the campus Mataheko. Here the departments of biblical and theological studies, historical theology and practical theology are connected.

The Faculty of Business Administration ( eng. School of Business Management and Administration ) was established in 1997. Here the departments accounting / finance, management, social sciences, information technology and modern languages ​​are affiliated.

The Faculty of Applied Sciences is located on the campus Cawhenya. Here are the departments of architecture, engineering sciences, natural sciences, nursing (English Nursind Studies and Practice), pharmaceuticals and connected the Department of physical training of technical assistants.

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is the youngest of the faculties at the CUC. She lies on the Dawhenya Kampus, was established in October 2006. Here the departments of communication and environment and development studies have been made.
