Cepheus (crater)

Cepheus is a lunar impact crater on the northeast front. It is located south of the Atlas, southwest of Oersted and northwest of Franklin. His wall is terraced and moderately eroded, in the north- east it is overlain by the secondary craters Cepheus A. The interior has a central mountain.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the mythological king Cepheus.
